Are you interested in learning all you can to keep your pooch safe? If so, I'm your gal! I divide my time between Los Angeles and Central Oregon and provide the following services in both locations:

Private, in-home pet first aid training (one family and pets only)

All sessions include:

• Hands-on CPR and other life-saving skills training on a veterinary dog mannequin

• Training and practice on your own dogs: Vital signs, breed-specific techniques, and more as your dog(s) will comfortably allow

• Signed copy of The Safe Dog Handbook (includes illustrated, color emergency first aid guide)

• Travel up to 30 miles round trip

Complete session, 4 hours - $350*
(includes pet first aid guide and certification card(s) from the
Emergency Care and Safety Institute)                                                                               

Modified session, 2 hours - $150*    

Dog/Puppy-Proofing consultation (approx 1 hr.) - $75*

Includes:

• Complete home and backyard inspection

• Problem solving and product recommendations

• Identification of toxic plants in your home and garden                                                        

Children's safety lesson, 20-30 minutes - $35*

Includes:

• Teaching kids how to safely interact with known and "strange" dogs

• Lesson on dangerous "people foods" and common hazards for dogs                            

Group Pet first aid workshop (6-10 participants), 4 hours - $65pp*

Group workshops can be held in private homes, pet boutiques,
shelters, or anywhere with sufficient space. The curriculum is from the Emergency
Care and Safety Institute. Participants will receive a course completion card,
suitable as proof of pet first aid certification.

Includes:

• Broad range pet first aid, including hands-on CPR training and other life-saving skills on a veterinary dog mannequin

• Color pet first aid guide from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute

• Participants' well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend                                                    

*Additional mileage beyond 30 miles round trip is $1/mile.
